DFB Laser Diode(Distributed Feedback Laser Diode) is one type of laser typically used in optical communication and optical fiber sensing.Its working principle is based on the concept of Distributed Feedback, by introducing periodic refractive index changes in the semiconductor material, to achieve a high quality laser beam output in a single longitudinal mode.
